The internet truly is a global village, a village with no barriers.  A place where Doctor Who fans can get together and discuss the best darn show in the world.

So why is it some of our overseas cousins meet so many barriers in getting Doctor Who to air on their local station?

American fans in particular are feeling the brunt of this, they have not even seen the Christmas special The Next Doctor yet!

This is a situation that needs to change, now.  So the DWO WhoCast has brought together some of the finest Doctor Who minds to try and work out the reasons for the lack of Doctor Who in the US of A.

Trevor and Marty are joined by Chip, from the most excellent 2MinuteTimelord podcast, and also Benjamin Elliott, the man behind the just as excellent This Week in Doctor Who.

Between the four of us, we attempt to get to the bottom of the problem and come up with some practical and achievable solutions.
